About EXOPOLOSI

Our mission, editorial standards, and analytical approach

Mission

EXOPOLOSI publishes rigorous exopolitical analysis applying intelligence community (IC) analytical standards to the study of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and the broader question of non-human intelligence (NHI). We exist to raise the analytical quality of public discourse on these topics.

We are not advocates. We do not promote particular conclusions. We apply structured analytical methodology to available evidence and communicate our findings with appropriate confidence levels, acknowledging uncertainty where it exists.

Editorial Standards

Every assessment published by EXOPOLOSI adheres to the following principles:

Evidence-Based Analysis

All claims are grounded in identifiable sources. We evaluate each source using the Admiralty (NATO) grading system, assessing both the reliability of the source and the credibility of the information independently.

Calibrated Confidence

We assign confidence levels (High, Moderate, Low) to all key judgments. These levels reflect both the quality of underlying evidence and the degree of analytical agreement, following standards established in the U.S. Intelligence Community’s Analytic Standards.

Estimative Language

We use precise probabilistic language: “we assess,” “we judge,” “we estimate.” We never express absolute certainty. Every key claim is accompanied by its confidence level and the basis for that assessment.

Alternative Hypotheses

Every assessment includes an explicit analysis of competing explanations. We consider a minimum of three alternative hypotheses for any key judgment, assessing the plausibility of each against available evidence.

Intellectual Honesty

We distinguish clearly between what is known, what is assessed, and what is speculated. When evidence is insufficient to reach a judgment, we say so. When new information contradicts previous assessments, we revise openly.

Organizational Identity

EXOPOLOSI publishes as an organization, not as individual authors. This approach prioritizes the analysis over personalities and ensures that assessments are evaluated on their methodological rigor and evidentiary basis rather than the reputation of any individual contributor.
